Ministry of Education (MOE) invites everyone to the merit making ceremony with 128 monks on the 127th anniversary day of the established Ministry of Education on the 1st of April 2019. This activity provided to cherish late people who have dedicated themselves to voluntary work and given support to MOE activities and be proud of their honors and awards plaque, including publicizing education activities of MOE to public.
Deputy Minister of Education, senior executives, civil servants and officers under control by MOE, civil servants and senior teachers club includes distinguished guests, participated this event at front area of MOE building and Khurusapha hall.
This event start at 7.30 a.m. which it preside over by Gen. Surachet Chaiwong (Deputy Minister of Education), Assist.Prof. Werasit Sittitrai (Advisor to the Deputy Minister Ministry of Education: Clin.Prof.Dr. Udom Kachintorn, M.D.), Assoc.Prof.Dr. Preecha Suntranun, M.D. (Assistant Secretary to the Minister of Education) including Mr.Karoon Skoonpradit (Permanent Secretary), Mr.Boonrak Yodphet (Secretary General, Office of Basic Education Comission), Mr.Suphat Chumpatong (Secretary General of the Education Council), Prof.Dr. Sanphan Ritthidet (Acting Secretary General, Office of the Higher Education Comission), executives, civil servants and officers joined the merit making ceremony with 128 monks and pray to the Buddha statue of MOE.
Mr.Karoon Skoonpradit (Permanent Secretary) are proceeded to award certificates and commemorative pin to 89 persons who have dedicated themselves to voluntary work and given support to MOE activities. He also had a speech from Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha (Prime Minister of Thailand) and Gen. Surachet Chaiwong (Deputy Minister of Education) on the occasion of the 127th anniversary of Ministry of Education in the year 2019, which will be held on the Khurusapha hall at 10 a.m.
He said that the government said the national education plan (2017-2036) focused on giving priorities in terms of education administration, which it define important strategies of country such as educational administration for national security, human resource development, supporting research and innovation for competitiveness enhancement, capacity enhancement of people of all ages. However, key factors that make all policies success, is cooperation of all sectors especially persons who have dedicated themselves to voluntary work and given support to MOE activities.
The selection process who have dedicated themselves to voluntary work and given support to MOE activities according to MOE regulation and criteria about selection process (A.D.2004) that identified that awards consist of certificates and commemorative pin for this ceremony. There are 89 participants in this year.
In this year, Assoc.Prof.Samphan Phanprul, Ph.D., was selected as role model persons who have dedicated themselves to voluntary work and given support to MOE activities then he got such awards. The National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization) (NIETS) who offer him to such selection process then after he got this reward, Assist.Prof. Sirida Burachat (the director of NIETS) and NIETS officers give our congratulations with him.
