NIETS arranged an online meeting for preparing the first round of the Non-Formal National Educational Test (N-NET) at the cooperation testing centers level in the academic year 2025.

On May 29, 2025, the National Institute of Education Testing Service (Public Organization), or NIETS, arranged an online meeting for improving personnel in the testing administration field at the cooperation testing centers level of the Non-Formal National Educational Test (N-NET). This meeting aimed to summarize the operation issues of the N-NET test in the previous academic year (2024) and to prepare the upcoming N-NET testing operation in the first round of the academic year 2025. There were participants from the Department of Learning Encouragement, 77 locations of the Provincial Office of Learning Encouragement including the Bangkok office, and the Distance Education Institute conferred by the Zoom Cloud Meeting Program.

Asst. Prof. Sirida Burachat, Ph.D., the Director of NIETS assigned the Deputy Director (Warunee  Liewwiwatchai, Ph.D.) opened the meeting and addressed the preparation of the first round of N-NET testing in the academic year 2025 using the digital testing system for every student at the primary level, lower secondary level, and upper secondary level, except students living in prison, jail, penitentiary, juvenile observation and protection training center, protection and occupational development center, juvenile detention homes, reception home for girls, Princess Mother National Institute on Drug Abuse Treatment, and educational institutes which computer sets and internet network were not available. NIETS still operated the paper pencil form of the N-NET testing in the last year and appreciated all examination centers and examination halls for the testing operation according to the test management handbook and the implementation applying to the national testing standards. 

The chief of the Testing Administration and Center Network Division (Mr.Pattana Thanakorn), concluded the obstacles, problems, and solutions of the last N-NET testing and discussed the preparation of N-NET in the academic year 2025. He stated the designation of working groups at the examination center level, the meeting arrangement for committees at the examination center level, the roles and responsibilities of the examination centers (before, during, and after the test), the operational schedule for educational institutes, the survey of readiness in the examination halls using the digital testing system, the testing administration following guidelines of NIETS, and the hearing on opinions and comments of participants.
