NIETS conducted the 3rd round of the Test of English Communication in the Workplace (TEC-W) for the year 2025.

On Saturday, June 21, 2025, the National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization), or NIETS, provided the service of the Test of English Communication in the Workplace (TEC-W) using the digital testing system in the 3^rd round of the year 2025.

The TEC-W testing is a valid assessment of English language proficiency skills for communication in the workplace consisting of 4 skills, which are listening, speaking, reading, and writing, that conforms to the standards criteria of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, or CEFR. It is aligned with the national strategy for enhancing and developing the lifelong capability of humans, especially the workforce age to strengthen English communication skills as one of essential skills in the 21^st century.

NIETS will announce the test results on July 10, 2025. The test takers who got scores more than 85 percent can present their result report to compare with the test and the assessment of professional competence of teachers (the professional teacher license) with a major in teaching English language at the Secretariat Office of the Teachers’ Council of Thailand or apply for the evidence to reduce procedures of the academic standing consideration or for the promotion of academic status according to the criteria of the Office of the Teacher Civil Service and Educational Personnel Commission (OTEPC) or for other purposes.
