Director of NIETS, keynote speaker on “Education quality development by using O-NET score to enhance learning achievement with the Four Noble Truths.”

Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office (area 3) hosted O-NET Achievement Enhancment Project at Eco Inn hotel, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, on Thursday 18^th October 2018, concerning the importance of promoting learning achievement in four subject areas of Grade 6 and Grade 9 in this academic year. The attendees were school administrators and Thai language teachers.

Associate Professor Samphan Phanpruk, Ph.D., Director of the National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization) was the keynote speaker. He effectively described learning evaluation and assessment in detail of 4 subject areas in grade record (record type 5) and the use of O-NET score in individual report 1 to report 6. His focusing was the use of 
O-NET analysis result  in  professional teaching planning that tied learner’s quality in curriculum to learning activities.

In afternoon section, the director mentioned the analysis of indicators as stated by curriculum to construct the conceptual test and also analyses the behavior level of cognitive domain for teaching planning, writing a test item on item card, as well as test quality analysis. In addition, the participants had an opportunity to share their concerns and suggestions, then completed the questionnaires about implementation of O-NET score.
