Office of the Non-Formal and Informal Education of Pattani province organized personnel training project to enhance national education quality via Non-Formal National Educational Test (N-NET) at Pattani province.

Office of the Non-Formal and Informal Education of Pattani province organized personnel training project to enhance national education quality via Non-Formal National Educational Test in order to make personnel understanding and give priority more about national educational test, enhance education quality in Pattani province during 27-28 September 2019. There were 430 participating teachers under Office of the Non-Formal and Informal Education of Pattani province in the project at Southern View hotel.

Ms.Warunee Liewwiwatchai, Ph.D., Deputy Director of the National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization) (NIETS) informed the objectives of N-NET as followed: 1) to test the knowledge and concepts of non-formal education students in primary and secondary level according to the non-formal education curriculum of the year 2008, 2) to provide test result for improving their teaching and learning activities, 3) to be one of key conditions for graduation or school exit, and 4) for other objectives such as used for the university and school admission. She spoke on the standardization of N-NET, emphasized on the five standards of NIETS as followed:1) test administration standard, 2) testing personnel standard, 3) test development standard, 4) test printing standard, and 5) test report and test result standard. She also recommended the participants to use of N-NET score results for any practical purposes in enhancing education quality and developing learning achievement.

Mr. Patana Thanakorn, Head of Testing Administration Department, gave a brief overview of the previous year N-NET administration and the result implementation in both test field and test center levels. Moreover, he reemphasized how important it was for all testing centers staff to strictly follow the regulation of testing administering.
