NIETS had the meeting for NIETS testing center representatives of grade 12 for O-NET academic year 2019, General Aptitude Test/ Professional and Academic Aptitude Test (GAT/PAT), and 9 Common Subjects for academic year 2020.

The National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization) (NIETS) organized the meeting for NIETS testing center representatives of grade 12 for O-NET academic year 2019, General Aptitude Test/ Professional and Academic Aptitude Test (GAT/PAT), and 9 Common Subjects for academic year 2020 at room 3501, the 35th floor of Phayathai Plaza Building, Bangkok on Thursday 21st November 2019. The participants were president of testing centers and working groups from eighteen testing center; Chulalongkorn University, Kasetsart University, Burapha University, King Mongkut’s University of Technology, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Srinakharinwirot University, Thammasat University (Rangsit), Silpakorn University (Sanam Chan Palace Campus), Prince of Songkla University, Suranaree University of Technology, Naresuan University, Khon Kaen University, Princess of Naradhiwas University, Chiang Mai University, Walailak University, Mahasarakham University, Ubon Ratchathani University, and Nakhon Phanom University.

Ms.Warunee Liewwiwatchai, Ph.D., Deputy Director-General, gave a brief overview of O-NET grade 12, GAT/PAT, and 9 Common Subjects in the previous year and reemphasized how important for all testing centers staff was to monitor testing fields and schools to strictly follow the regulation of testing administering. She specifically made all testing centers clear that they should focus on implementation the guidelines for transparency.

Mr. Patana Thanakorn, Head of Testing Administration and Center Network Division, also announced the tentative schedule of O-NET grade 12 for the academic year 2019, GAT/PAT, and 9 Common Subjects for academic year 2020. He reemphasized all testing centers should explicitly  instruct the testing fields to strictly follow the rule and regulation of entering the examination room, checking provided identification document, especially, no electronic devices allowed. In the last session of the meetings, the participants shared their concerned, opinions and recommendation.
