The National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization) (NIETS) had conducted Islamic National Educational Test (I-NET) meeting of academic year 2019 at room 3501, the 35th floor of Phayathai Plaza Building, Bangkok on Tuesday 7 January 2020.
The 19 committees from seven testing fields of NIETS testing centers participated in the meeting. They were from Sorn Sasanasasanupatham school, Al-Qurra Wittaya (Prawet), Bangkok Witthaya School (foundation), Santichon Islamic school, Iqra Muslim School, Sasana Wittaya School, Anwarulislam School
Asst.Prof. Sirida Burachat, Ph.D., the director of NIETS welcomed them and spoke on the standardization of I-NET administering to strictly follow the regulation of testing administering in 2014 (B.E. 2557). She specifically staffs of testing centers had to strictly follow I-NET rule and regulation in the manual.
Mr. Patana Thanakorn, Head of Testing Administration Department, gave a brief overview of I-NET in the previous year and informed amount of test-participating students for I-NET academic year 2019, which were 34,207 students in lower secondary level, 23,257 students in middle secondary level, and 11,502 students in upper secondary level. In addition, he also informed the work schedule to testing centers and testing fields including reemphasized them about roles and how to supervise and conduct. In the last session of the meetings, the participants shared their concerned, opinions and recommendation in order to improve in I-NET administration in accordance with NIETS’ policy and guidelines as well as national educational testing standards.
The tentative schedule of I-NET for the academic year 2019 will be held on 18 January 2020, test result announcement on 18 February 2019.
