NIETS had the meeting for grade 6 and grade 9 O-NET testing center representatives academic year 2020 at Chiang Mai.

The National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization) (NIETS) had the meeting for grade 6 and grade 9 O-NET testing center representatives academic year 2020 at Khum Phucome, Chiang Mai province on Thursday 6thAugust 2020. The participants were representatives of the Provincial Education Office, Primary Educational Service Area Office, and Secondary Educational Service Area Office from Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Nan, Phayao, Phrae, Mae Hong Son, Lampang and Lamphun provinces.

Asst.Prof. Sirida Burachat, Ph.D., NIETS director, the president of the O-NET testing centers mentioned standards of National Educational Test and suggested the more use of O-NET score for enhancing educational quality and developing students' learning achievement.

Mr. Patana Thanakorn, Head of Testing Administration and Center Network Division, gave a conclusion of the previous year O-NET administration and O-NET preparation academic year 2020 in line with the National Educational Testing Standards.

O-NET test schedules academic year 2020 are as followed: grade 6 is on 13rd March 2021 (test result announcement on April, 21st 2021), for grade 9 will be on 13rd - 14th March 2021 (test result announcement on April, 22nd 2021), and for grade 12 will be on 27th - 28th March 2021 (test result announcement on April, 27th 2021).
