NIETS conducts O-NET with digital testing for grade 12 students in the 2022 academic year for the first time.

In the 2022 academic year, National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization) conducts Ordinary National Educational Test (O-NET) with digital testing for grade 12 students for the first time. In addition, there are 62 coordination centers that are responsible for conducting O-NET (Secondary Educational Service Area Office) during 25 February – 4 March, 2023.
Also, the number of students, sitting for the test is 226,939 while the number of testing-fields is 2,005. O-NET are divided into 4 sessions as following:

Grade 12 students, who sit for the O-NET will take 5 subjects (Thai Language, Social Studies, English, Mathematics, Science). NIETS is going to announce O-NET result on 31 March, 2023 on its website (www.niets.or.th).
Moreover, NIETS has a project on a utilization of O-NET result for teaching development and educational staff improvement. NIETS also creates digital testing system to either students or interested people so that they can use the O-NET result for learning enhancement. For the system, it can be accessed anytime and anywhere, it supports several devices, it is user-friendly and
it provides standard tests so the users will realize their strengths and weaknesses after taking
the test. As a result, they can set their plans for personal development.
