On 18 May 2023, Deputy Director of National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization)(Warunee Liewwiwatchai, Ph.D.), delegated by the Director (Asst. Prof. Sirida Burachat, Ph.D.) attended Grand Opening Ceremony of Human Rights Development Institute at Miracle Grand Convention Hotel, Bangkok.
In this event, the Swedish Ambassador (H.E. Mr. Jon Astrom Grondahl) gave a congratulation speech, The Rights and Liberties Protection Department Director General (Mr. Ruangsak Suwaree) directed a welcoming speech. In the same way, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice (Ms. Pongsawat Kaiarunsut) presented an overall report while an opening speech was given by Deputy Prime Minister and Acting Justice Minister of Thailand (Mr.Wissanu Krea-ngam).
Human Rights Development Institute’s missions are to be a learning center in Thailand in which people engage in all aspects of human rights and to be an agency to promote knowledge sharing on academic and research about rights, obligation, liberty, human rights that the general public shall be received according to the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand and these approaches can be used to promote and protect human rights as well as reduce human rights violations in society efficiently and satiability. Moreover, NIETS and other agencies will have a great opportunity to understand other missions so that everyone can exchange knowledge and integrate cooperation in future.
