NIETS arranged the workshop “Course of checking subjective exam for Thai language teacher” as the primary 6th in fiscal year 2023

Asst. Prof. Sirida Burachat, Ph.D, the director of NIETS opened the workshop in the topic of “Course of checking the subjective exam for Thai language teacher” as grade 6 level in the fiscal year 2023. The objectives of the workshop were training knowledge and main idea of subjective exam marking, principle of summary writing, story-telling writing from pictures, checking criteria and grade marking. Furthermore, it was the improvement for Thai language teachers to apply subjective exam for teaching students in their classes, and to lead guideline for Thai language courses and teaching management which students can be better for learning.

The workshop participants included Thai language teachers from the Office of the Basic Education Commission, Department of Education Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Department of Local Administration, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation and Office of the Private Education Commission, totally had 219 persons which can be divided in 2 cohort trainings as following:

The first in Chiang Mai province between 9 – 11 September, 2023. There were 112 participants at Amora Tapae Hotel Chiangmai.

The second in Khon Kaen province between 16 – 18 September, 2023. There were 107 participants at Avani Khon Kaen Hotel & Convention Center.
