NIETS held the 2nd briefing meeting with N-NET Testing Center for academic year 2023

On the 2^nd of November 2023, National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization) set up the briefing meeting with testing center of N-NET (Non-Formal National Educational Test) as the second time of academic year 2023. There were 217 participants jointed this meeting via Zoom cloud meeting which including the representatives from Department of Learning Encouragement, Distance Education Institute, Bangkok Office of Learning Encouragement, and Provincial Office of Learning Encouragement (77 provinces).

Warunee Liewwiwatchai, Ph.D., NIETS Deputy Director had profound welcome all participants and stated that the academic year 2023, the N-NET testing platform for primary school and secondary school will be used paper pencil while the high school level be applied digital testing system. Last year, N-NET testing operation was in order, hence NIETS appreciated all testing centers and examination halls for kind cooperation and well organized according to testing manual and standards procedure of national education testing. NIETS has already prepared and announced test blueprint, schedule, regulations and audio-visual materials for digital testing introduction. This information will support schools and students to understand digital proceeding and warm up testing. Chief of Testing Administration and Center Network Division (Mr. Pattana Thanakorn), reported results of N-NET testing in the first time of academic year 2023 and addressed the second time of N-NET testing preparation agenda. The relevant issues were mentioned as working group establishment and briefing meeting for testing center, monitoring and follow up student data and classes data delivery for schools, inspecting testing sites for digital testing system settings, the administrative testing relied on action proceedings of NIETS and operation guidelines of digital testing system. Finally, there was session for discussion and suggestions pertain to participants.
