NIETS arranged the operational training “Course of checking subjective exam for Thai language teachers” Secondary 3, the 1st batch.

Asst. Prof. Sirida Burachat, Ph.D, the director of National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization) or NIETS, handled the operational training in title of “Course of checking subjective exam for Thai language teachers” for Secondary school level 3 in the fiscal year 2024, as the 1^st batch of the Central Region of Thailand. This training course was held between 25 – 27 November 2023 at The Palazzo Bangkok Ratchdaphisek. There were 152 Thai language teachers from Office of the Basic Education Commission, Office of the Private Education Commission, Department of Local Administration and Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.

The objectives of this course were to convey the principle of checking subjective exam, the criteria of checking and assigning score. Moreover, it supported Thai language teachers to develop and apply subjective exam for teaching and learning in their classes, the guidelines for teaching and learning and improving better skills for Thai language learners. The activities consist of lectures “Awareness building of O-NET testing results in subjective form used for teaching and learning quality development.” There were more lectures in the topic of

 “O-NET testing in subjective exam.” with Asst. Prof. Sirida Burachat, Ph.D, the director of NIETS as proficient lecturer, “Standards of O-NET testing for subjective exam.” lectured by Saitong  Paugsuntear, Ph.D. Deputy of Director of NIETS, “The criteria for checking subjective exam.” educated by Asst. Prof. Sukontharat Soithongdee, the expert speaker in Thai language. Concurrently, the workshop of “Checking the subjective exam.” was a complement activity.
