NIETS joined activities “EDU SOFT POWER FESTIVAL 2024” and announced achievements pursuing policies of the Ministry of Education.

Bangkok, December 25 – 27, 2023, Asst. Prof. Sirida Burachat, Ph.D, the director of National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization) or NIETS along with executives and official officers, attended the activities of “EDU SOFT POWER FESTIVAL 2024” and announced achievements pursuing policies of the Ministry of Education in the surrounding area of the Ministry of Education. Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior         (Mr. Anutin Chanvirakul) was chairman of the opening ceremony and visited exhibition booths presenting 10 policies of the Ministry of Education.

NIETS also had an exhibition booth in the policy of Studying “Anywhere Anytime” by presenting online media for teachers, students, and interested persons, which was used for applications in a variety of electronics equipment. It included online lessons for improving staff learning, measuring, and assessment, which is a suitable training system for lecturers, academicians, educational officers, and interested persons. The online training attendants who learn and pass the evaluation criteria will get diplomas from NIETS. There was online testing for learning improvement for students in grades 6, 9, and 12, which offered the online pretest of O-NET testing and an immediate results report in order to support study plan or personal learning improvement. In addition, there was a policy of skill certificate testing system that was presented about the Vocational National Educational Test, or V-NET, and testers could bring their testing results of digital literacy to ask for a certificate of capability standards in digital usage from the Thailand Professional Qualification Institute (Public Organization) or TPQI and an English language proficiency certificate (in case they passed the qualified score) from NIETS.

Furthermore, NIETS pleased to deliver happiness on the occasion of the New Year with no cost of testing applications for the Test of English Communication in the Workplace or TEC-W. It is the New Year gift for teachers, students, educational officers, and interested persons in every province nationwide and the Bangkok area, which amounts to 2,400 testers.
