NIETS managed the operational training “Course of checking subjective exams for Thai language teachers” at Secondary Education Level 3, the 3rd batch, the North Region.

Chiang Mai, Asst. Prof. Sirida Burachat, Ph.D, the director of National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization) or NIETS, handled the operational training in the course “Checking subjective exams for Thai language teachers” for secondary school level 3 in the fiscal year 2024, as the third batch of the North Region of Thailand (Chiang Mai). This training course was held between December 23 – 25, 2023, at the Amora Tapae Hotel, Chiang Mai province. There were 152 Thai language teachers from the Office of the Basic Education Commission, the Office of the Private Education Commission, Department of Local Administration Promotion, and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation.

There were lectures in this training on the topic of “The O-NET testing results as a helping tool for improving teaching and learning quality” educated by Asst. Prof. Sirida Burachat, Ph.D, the director of NIETS, “Standards of testing, examination, and subjective exams checking” by Saitong  Paugsuntear, Ph.D. Deputy of Director of NIETS, “The criteria of checking subjective exams for Thai language courses at Secondary Level 3” by Asst. Prof. Sukontharat Soithongdee, the speaker and expert lecturer in Thai language. Furthermore, NIETS had a study sharing session between speakers and attendants.
