NIETS arranged the operational training “Course of checking subjective exams for Thai language teachers” in Secondary 3, the fourth batch in the South.

Asst. Prof. Sirida Burachat, Ph.D, the director of National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization) or NIETS, handled the operational training under the title “Course of checking subjective exams for Thai language teachers” for secondary school level 3 in the fiscal year 2024, as the fourth batch of the Southern Region of Thailand. This training course was held between January 6 and 8, 2024, at the Hansa JB Hotel Haiyai in Songkhla province. There were 156 Thai language teachers in the South region from the Office of the Basic Education Commission, the Office of the Private Education Commission, the Department of Local Administration, and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation.

There were lectures session on the topic of “The usage of O-NET testing results and findings from subjective exam checking for Thai language courses last year to create dynamic tools for elevating the quality level of learning and teaching management.” presented by Asst. Prof. Sirida Burachat, Ph.D, the director of NIETS. The topic of “The Educational Testing Standards of Ordinary National Educational Test: O-NET for a subjective Exam.” was lectured by Saitong  Paugsuntear, Ph.D. Deputy Director of NIETS. Finally, the subject of “Criteria and Practices for checking subjective exam of Thai Language course.” was educated by Asst. Prof. Sukontharat Soithongdee, the expert speaker in Thai language.
