NIETS managed a briefing meeting for the committee at the examination hall level of TEC-W (New Year Gift) and a proficiency test in measuring and evaluating learning outcomes (Teacher’s Day Gift).

National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization) or NIETS arranged an online briefing meeting on January 9, 2024, via Zoom cloud meeting program for the committee at the examination hall level of the Test of English Communication in the Workplace: TEC-W (New Year Gift) and proficiency test in measuring and evaluating learning outcomes (Teacher’s Day Gift). The participants were provincial education officers from 51 sites, secondary educational service area from 7 sites, and Department of Education Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.

Asst. Prof. Sirida Burachat, Ph.D, the director of National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization), or NIETS assigned Warunee  Liewwiwatchai, Ph.D. deputy director, gave a welcome speech and stated the Test of English Communication in the Workplace or TEC-W and the proficiency test in measuring and evaluating learning outcomes as an occasional gift of the New Year 2024 and Teacher’s Day, free of charge (according to the Ministry of Education’s policies). The testing was scheduled for January 11, 2024, and testing results will be announced on January 15, 2024. However, NIETS appreciated the working team’s kind cooperation in operational testing work.

Chief of Testing Administration and Center Network Division (Mr. Pattana Thanakorn) stated the preparatory process of the Test of English Communication in the Workplace, or TEC-W (New Year Gift), and the proficiency test in measuring and evaluating learning outcomes (Teacher’s Day Gift). In addition, he explained the structure of testing management using a digital testing system, the roles and affairs of NIETS and examination halls, the operation procedures of the committee at the examination hall level, the categories of testing documents, the operational plan for testing management, and concluded with an inquiry and discussion session for all participants.

Chief of Information Technology Division (Mr. Trithep Sirisan) mentioned the arrangement of the digital testing system, the testing system structure, the operational plan for the testing system, computers, and related equipment installation. He also declared a sign-in method for the system, taking the test process, testing delivery, and having the system tested by a digital system.
