NIETS managed V-NET testing by digital testing system in the fiscal year 2023.

National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization) or NIETS organized the Vocational National Educational Test, or V-NET, at the vocational certificate level 3 in the fiscal year 2023 using a digital testing system. This testing measured the teaching and learning standards of institutes, the learning outcomes of vocational qualification, and the necessary capabilities for a vocational career and 21^st century skills. The testing was scheduled for January 20 – 21 and 27 – 28 2024 (2 rounds each Saturday and Sunday, in the morning and   in the afternoon). There were qualified testing participants totally 94,450, as detailed below:

• On January 20, 2024, 24,144 participants in 540 exam rooms
• On January 21, 2024, 23,924 participants in 559 exam rooms
• On January 27, 2024, 23,350 participants in 519 exam rooms
• On January 28, 2024, 23,032 participants in 537 exam rooms

The advantages of taking the V-NET examination are that useful information derived from outcomes evaluation could be applied to further improvement of educational management, screening qualifications for recruiting employees of companies, as well as supportive information for the decision-making process at the national policy level. If the testers have more than 80 percent of the English competency testing score for a career, they will get the English competency certificate from NIETS. Furthermore, the testers got a digital literacy score of more than 65 percent, and they can propose a score testing report to the Thailand Professional Qualification Institute (Public Organization) for the Digital Literacy Standard Certificate. The testing result announcement for V-NET will be on February 21 2024, on the website, www.niets.or.th.
