NIETS administered the examination of V-NET using a digital testing system for the fiscal year 2023.

National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization) or NIETS organized the Vocational National Educational Test, or V-NET, at vocational certificate level 3 in the fiscal year 2023 using a digital testing system. This testing measured the necessary capabilities for a vocational career and 21st century skills which were 8 abilities consisting of (1) the basic vocational knowledge for a career, (2) operational teamwork, (3) operational assignment work, (4) planning and working schedule management, (5) solutions and decision-making, (6) systematic thinking, (7) English language proficiency, and (8) digital literacy. The testing was scheduled for January 20 – 21 and 27 – 28 2024 (2 rounds for each day). There were 94,450 total testing applicants which divided by days as follow:

  • On Saturday, January 20, 2024 for applicants 24,144 persons
  • On Sunday, January 21, 2024 for applicants 23,924 persons
  • On Saturday, January 27, 2024 for applicants 23,350 persons
  • On Sunday, January 28, 2024 for applicants 23,032 persons

NIETS will announce testing results of V-NET on February 27, 2024 via its official website, www.niets.or.th

The advantages of taking the V-NET examination and testing results are that they provide useful information for improving the quality of educational management and for employers to review in a recruitment process. The information also supported decision-making at the national policy level. If the testers have more than 80 percent of the English competency testing score for a career, they will get the English competency certificate from NIETS. Furthermore, since the testers got a digital literacy score of more than 65 percent, they can propose a score testing report to the Thailand Professional Qualification Institute (Public Organization) for official certification.
