NIETS organized the Non-Formal National Educational Test (N-NET) for the second time in the fiscal year 2023.

On Sunday, February 4, 2024, National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization), or NIETS arranged the Non-Formal National Educational Test (N-NET) for the second time in the fiscal year 2023 for students at the elementary school level, the secondary school level, and the high school level of Non-Formal education curriculum at the level of the Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E. 2551 (A.D. 2008). The results of the test could be applied for the quality improvement of learning and teaching in education units and the composition of graduation following the regulations of each course completion, including other purposes for each agency. Whereas, NIETS derived collaboration from the Office of Provincial Learning Encouragement in 76 provinces, and the Office of Learning Encouragement in Bangkok was a coordination center for testing set up in 77 sites. The testing management was well organized according to the standards of national testing.

The second testing of B-NET in the fiscal year 2023 had a total of 118,361 applicants, which were divided as follows:

• At the elementary level, 7,529 people using paper pencil testing form.

• At the secondary level, 44,713 people using a paper pencil testing form.
• At the high school level, 66,119 people using a digital testing system 61,239 people and using paper pencil testing form 4,880 people (for captives)

The advantages of taking the N-NET examination are the usage of testing results for comparing educational quality at multiple levels and applying them to planning the educational management improvement, in addition, the information supports decision-making in educational policy management procedures. Moreover, the evaluation result could be transferred to formal education, informal education, and others depend on learners. NIETS will announce the testing result on March 5, 2024, on its official website, www.niets.or.th
