NIETS arranged TEC-W testing for May 2024 using the digital testing system at the NIETS examination hall.

On May 27, 2024, the National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization) conducted the Test of English Communication in the Workplace (TEC-W) with digital testing system for May 2024 at the NIETS examination hall (Phayathai Plaza Building, E – Testing room on the 35th floor).
TEC-W is a valid assessment of English language proficiency for communication in the workplace that conforms to the standards criteria of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages or CEFR, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This testing was served to students, teachers, educational officers, private company employees, and interested people who were required to test their English language competency by themselves. Furthermore, NIETS has a platform for learning TEC-W testing via the online system (Click to enter the digital testing system of NIETS), which could support students and people who were interested in study by themselves with no charge, according to the policy “Anywhere, Anytime” presented by the Minister of Education (Police General Permpoon Chidchob) and the Deputy Minister (Surasak Phancharoenworakul), who raise the importance of educational momentum.
The benefits for TEC-W test takers are the TEC-W’s scores, which can be applied for recruitment qualification in business enterprises or for an extra remuneration consideration according to official recruiting regulations in those organizations. Besides, it could be applied to support English communication skills development and determine a national policy for personnel’s capacity improvement, thereby advancing the economy and enhancing the competitiveness. NIETS will announce testing results on May 28, 2024, on the official website, www.niets.or.th. The testing result report will be valid for 2 years from the day the exam results are announced.
