NIETS organized the 4th round of an online workshop on the usage of O-NET results for teaching and learning quality upgrade according to the “Anywhere, Anytime” policy of the Minister of Education.

On Tuesday, May 28, 2024, Asst. Prof. Sirida Burachat, Ph.D, the director of the National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization), or NIETS, hosted the fourth round of an online operational workshop on the topic of “the utilization of the Ordinary National Educational Test (O-NET) results usage for upgrading teaching and learning’s quality” in order to promote participants for the free self–study course and educational inequality reduction regarding the “Anywhere, Anytime” policy of the Minister of Education (Police General Permpoon Chidchob) and the Deputy Minister of Education (Surasak Phancharoenworakul, which focuses on the importance of educationally driven strategy. The participants in this workshop, consisting of the institute’s executives, educational supervisors, and teachers from multiple subjects, came from the Office of the Basic Education Commission, the Department of Education Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, the Department of Local Administration, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, and the Office of the Private Education Commission. The workshop educated on the analysis guidelines for O-NET testing results for personal students and the testing results analysis of institutes for 6 issues, which were classified by subject, lesson content, learning standard, and indicators. Moreover, it included testing analysis from O-NET testing results and information applied for teaching and learning development and upgrading class learning management. The workshop prepared a pretest and a posttest for each participant to measure their knowledge before and after the workshop in order to effectively apply O-NET testing results for teaching and learning upgrades.
