NIETS co-organized with PESA Office 1, hosted the workshop for quality improvement in education management by using the analysis of O-NET results in Kanchanaburi province.

On Saturday, June 22, 2024, Asst. Prof. Sirida Burachat, Ph.D, the director of the National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization), or NIETS, co-hosted with the director of the Primary Educational Service Area Office (PESAO), Area office 1 Kanchanaburi province, (Chaloemchon Rakleelawat, Ph.D.), arranged the operational workshop on the topic of “the quality improvement of education management by using the testing results analysis of the Ordinary National Educational Test (O-NET)” at the meeting room on the 3rd floor of the Kanchanaburi teachers credit union, Kanchanaburi province. This workshop aimed to improve teacher capabilities in teaching and learning management, measurement, and educational assessment through O-NET testing results analysis for enhancing an overview educational management. The overall 79 participants consisted of 3 education supervisors and 76 teachers from educational fund project schools, schools in the Royal Initiative Projects of Children and Youth Development in the Wilderness, educational opportunity expansion schools, and representatives of academic teachers from education quality improvement networks, each network for 1 school.
The activity “promoting of O-NET testing results as incentive tools for upgrading teaching and learning” included the training of O-NET testing results analysis of individual students, and the results of testing of institutes issued 1 – 6, which were classified by subject, lesson content, standards of knowledge, and indicators. Moreover, it provided the analysis of the basic education core curriculum, the testing blueprint structure, the examination and testing results, lessons learned from effective factors to O-NET testing scores of institutes in the year 2023, and O-NET information results usage applied for teaching and learning development and promoting course learning management amelioration.
