NIETS organized an operational workshop for boosting the usage of O-NET testing as teaching and learning management quality upgrading in Phichit province.

Asst. Prof. Sirida Burachat, Ph.D, the director of the National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization),  or NIETS,   along with the Phichit provincial education officer (Mr. Than Saisutcharit), the director of Secondary Educational Service Area Office, Phichit province (Panya Hakaeo, Ph.D.), the director of Primary Educational Service Area Office, Area 1 (Mr.Thongchai Chanyae), the director of Primary Educational Service Area Office, Area 2 (Mrs.Sanom Soetphon) organized the first round operational workshop on the topic of “the  promotion the usage of the Ordinary National Educational Test (O-NET) testing results for improving teaching and learning management quality” on June 28, 2024 and the second round on June 29, 2024, in Phichit province. This workshop had a total 619 participants, derived from the first round (244) and the second round (375). The participants were educational executives, supervisors, and teachers. It aimed to improve teacher capabilities in teaching and learning management, measurement, and educational assessment through O-NET testing results analysis to enhance overall educational management.

The activity “the promoting of O-NET testing results as incentive tools for upgrading teaching and learning” included the training of O-NET testing results analysis of individual students, and the results of testing of institutes issued 1 – 6, which were classified by subject, lesson content, standards of knowledge, and indicators. Moreover, it provided the analysis of the basic education core curriculum, the testing blueprint structure, the examination and testing results, lessons learned from effective factors to O-NET testing scores of institutes, and O-NET information results usage applied for teaching and learning development and promoting course learning quality management amelioration.
