NIETS arranged an online explication meeting for Islamic National Educational Test (I-NET) testing centers in academic year 2024 using the digital testing system.

On July 4, 2024, the National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization), or NIETS, conducted the working group meeting at the examination center level of the Islamic National Educational Test (I-NET) in the academic year 2024. There were 30 examination centers that participated in this meeting, consisting of representatives from 10 centers of the Primary Educational Service Area Office, 4 centers of the Secondary Educational Service Area Office, 11 centers of the Provincial Education Office, and 5 centers of the Office of Private Education.
Asst. Prof. Sirida Burachat, Ph.D, the director of NIETS assigned the deputy director (Warunee Liewwiwatchai, Ph.D) to open the online conference and state the objectives of I-NET testing, the summary of I-NET testing operations and their obstacles last year, and the preparatory work for I-NET testing in the academic year 2024. It would draw attention to the timeline of student data delivery during 1 August – 30 September, 2024, during which examination centers would supervise education institutes for data accuracy and data sending on time. For transparent testing procedures and concordance of testing standards in each examination center, NIETS prepares the I-NET testing manual for examination centers as a book and an electronic file for download on the official website: www.niets.or.th.
The chief of testing administration and center network division (Mr.Pattana Thanakorn) stated the objectives of the meeting and the testing operation summary for the academic year 2023. The testing schedule will start on Saturday, January 25, 2025, and the testing results will be announced on February 25, 2025. Furthermore, he explained the I-NET testing management at the examination center level and examination hall level, the usage of the testing administrative system, and the duties and working flows of committees at the examination hall level. The focal points for committees at the examination hall level were the conformable operation with the I-NET testing manual all the time (before, during, and after), including the function of testing management and regulation austerity.
The academic testing management officer (Ms. Orasa Suttisai) advised functions of the testing management system, which were the operation command for committee establishment at the examination center level, for committee establishment at the examination hall level, for printing out the testing document, the operational report arrangement, and the operation expenditure report.
The computer technical officer (Ms.Nipawan Phupha) addressed the usage of the I-NET testing system in relevant topics, consisting of the operated data for examination centers, students, data delivery, data adjustment, increasing and decreasing data of students, examination hall arrangement, printing out the list of test takers, etc. Finally, there was the session for participants’ discussion and comments.
