The testing schedule for primary school level 6 starts on Saturday, February 1, 2025, and secondary school level 3 on Sunday, February 2, 2025 (both levels use paper pencils and the digital testing system for those schools that are ready for computer equipment and an internet network). For secondary school level 6, testing will use the digital testing system on February 22 – 23, 2025, and March 1 – 2, 2025, (divided into 4 rounds). Furthermore, there were advices for the O-NET results report analysis of individual students and educational institutes issued 1 – 6, that were classified by subject, content lessons, learning standards, and indicators, concluding findings derived from the subjective test marking of the students in Thai language subjects at primary school level 6 and secondary school level 3. Moreover, NIETS arranged the interactive projects of O-NET testing results usage as tools for upgrading learning and teaching by “lead to think and do.” on site and online. In the academic year 2025, NIETS requires examination centers and examination halls to comply with the national testing regulations, strictly responding to the transparency, fairness, and testing criteria as “white centers, white halls.”

The chief of testing administration and center network division (Mr.Pattana Thanakorn) summarized the O-NET testing operation last year and announced testing schedule in the academic year 2024, the testing organization, and the testing system usage in order to provide and promote readiness, operational timeline, and working schedule for schools, such as student data delivery deadlines, which those schools must operate in the system during August 1 to September 30, 2024. He also informed the procedures for examination room and hall arrangements, school surveys for the readiness of equipment, and internet networks prepared for testing, including a session for inquiries and comments from participants.

The computer technical officer (Ms.Nittaya Kanbua) advised on the usage technique of the   O-NET testing program for the delivery of student data and examination rooms that schools have to arrange and deliver those data during August 1 to September 30, 2024. This year, NIETS developed this functional program, encouraging examination centers and schools to access the system and learn more about testing procedures from manuals that can be downloaded from the system.
