NIETS co-hosted PESAO Nakornpathom Area 1 an operational workshop for boosting mainstay teachers development in the usage of assessment for students learning progress.

On Saturday, July 13, 2024, Asst. Prof. Sirida Burachat, Ph.D, the director of the National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization), or NIETS, co-hosted with the director of the Primary Educational Service Area Office, Nakornpathom Area 1, conducted an operational workshop on the topic of “the mainstay of teachers development as propulsion tools for the usage of educational assessment to plan the measuring and assessment improvement in classes for students learning progress.” The workshop aimed to provide knowledge for understanding the information usage of educational measuring and assessment in order to plan productive improvement of educational quality according to indicators of institutes curricula. There were 131 participants, consisting of educational supervisors, institute executives, teachers, and educational officers, who joined at the Phraphromwethi meeting room in the Primary Educational Service Area Office Area 1, Nakornpathom province.

The workshop was a combined activity of the O-NET results of individual student analysis training, the institutes testing results analysis issued no. 1 – 6, which were classified by subjects, content lessons, learning standards, and indicators, the analysis of Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E.2551 (A.D. 2008), the testing blueprint creation, the examination and testing results analysis, and lessons learned from the effective impact of the institutes O-NET scores. Furthermore, it offered advices on the information usage from the O-NET testing results report for designing learning and teaching development and a proactive plan for measuring and assessing in classes.
