NIETS organized the test of English Communication in the Workplace (TEC-W) according to CEFR standards for testing listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

On July 25, 2024, the National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization), or NIETS, organized monthly the test of English Communication in the Workplace (TEC-W) using the digital testing system on July at examination halls of NIETS and Rajabhat Rajanagarindra University.

The TEC-W testing is a valid assessment of English language proficiency skills for communication in the workplace that conforms to the standards criteria of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, or CEFR, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

NIETS will announce the testing results on July 26, 2024. The testing result report will be valid for 2 years from the day the exam results are announced. It can be applied for recruitment qualification in business enterprises or for an extra remuneration consideration according to official recruiting regulations in those organizations. Besides, it could be applied to support English communication skills development and determine a national policy for personnel’s capacity improvement, thereby advancing the national economy and enhancing competitiveness.
