NIETS organized the second online explanation meeting with testing cooperation centers of V-NET testing in the academic year 2024.

On November 21, 2024, the National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization), or NIETS organized the explanation meeting with the co-working team at the cooperation testing center level for the Vocational National Educational Testing (V-NET) in the second rounds of the academic year 2024 in order to prepare the readiness of V-NET testing management. Participants included directors from 19 Institute of Vocational Education Offices, the director of the Northeastern Agricultural Vocational Education Institute, and representatives from 20 cooperation testing centers. This meeting was convened via Zoom Cloud Meeting.
Asst.Prof. Sirida Burachat, Ph.D, the director of NIETS assigned the deputy director (Warunee Liewwiwatchai, Ph.D) to open the meeting by discussing the objectives of the V-NET testing, preparations for the 2024 V-NET testing using the Digital Testing System, the test elements and score weights, and the benefits for test-takers. NIETS requested and emphasized having strict adherence to the responsibilities of testing schedules, procedure manuals, and regulations.
The chief of testing administration and center network division (Mr.Pattana Thanakorn) outlined the meeting's objectives: (1) Summarizing outcomes of V-NET testing in academic year 2023; (2) Clarifying policies, procedures, and guidelines for organizing the 2024 V-NET testing; and (3) Gathering feedback and recommendations from participants, including instructions on how to use the test management system. Furthermore, he announced the 2024 V-NET testing schedule, which will be held on January 18–19 and 25–26, 2025. The testing manual for cooperation centers is available in both printed and electronic formats and can be downloaded from the NIETS website at www.niets.or.th.
Mr. Panuphong Maita, an academic information technology officer, demonstrated the usage of the V-NET testing system, including data submission from educational institutions and methods of examination hall arrangement. At the end of the meeting, participants gave a discussion and provided their suggestions.
