NIETS held an online meeting of the committee at the examination hall level for preparatory O-NET Grade 12 using the digital testing system.

On January 9-10, 2025, the National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization) organized an online meeting of the committee at the examination hall level for the Ordinary Education National Test (O-NET) of Grade 12 students using the Digital Testing System in the academic year 2024 to prepare for the operational procedures of the O-NET for grade 12 students using the digital testing system. The operational duties of the committee were attended to by the directors of the 62 Secondary Education Area Offices, along with educational supervisors, chiefs of committee, testing system officers, testing coordination officers, operational testing system officers, and testing invigilators.

The chief of testing administration and center network division (Mr.Pattana Thanakorn), said the preparation and management of the O-NET for grade 12 students in the academic year 2024, which will be held on February 22-23 and on March 1-2 of 2025, split into 4 rounds of testing. He stated key topics were the roles, responsibilities, and procedures of the test venue; the testing schedule of the system to ensure readiness before the test, and guidelines for various scenarios to ensure fairness and compliance with national educational testing standards. Examination centers and venue halls were requested to strictly adhere to the national educational testing manual and regulations.

An academic - organized testing officer (Miss Wassana Prasongngam), introduced the usage of the testing management system to prepare documents before the test, including activities and operational procedures after testing finished that examination halls must carry out in terms of the documents delivery process back to NIETS through the testing management system.

An academic information technology officer from the Information and Technology division (Mr.Jirawit Temram) suggested a preparation for the digital testing system, such as preparing computers and related equipment, the process of logging into the system, how to take the test, and submitting the test, as well as providing advice related to the testing. Students can try to use the Digital Testing system for warming up before having an actual test on the NIETS’ official website. Finally, the meeting participants were given the opportunity to ask questions and provide suggestions.
