NIETS conducted the Buddhism National Educational Test (B-NET) via a digital testing system in the academic year 2024 to create a learning community.

The National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization), or NIETS, conducted the Buddhism National Educational Test (B-NET) in a digital testing system format that is accordant with the Ministry of Education and the key policies of the Minister of Education (Pol.Gen. Permpoon Chidchob) and the Deputy Minister of Education (Mr. Surasak Phancharoenworakul) “Anywhere, Anytime,” aiming to develop the quality of education by connecting all sectors to promote learners to be “Smart Knowing, Smart Thinking, Smart Doing, and to create a community of lifelong learning.”

On Saturday, February 15, 2025, NIETS organized the 2024 academic year of B-NET testing by using a digital testing system for students according to the curriculum of the Buddhist scriptures study, the general education department. There are a total of 7,084 eligible test takers, divided into 4,356 people in lower secondary school and 2,728 people in upper secondary school. NIETS will announce the B-NET test results on March 18, 2025, on the official website www.niets.or.th. The test results will be used as information for comparing educational quality in order to use in planning to upgrade the quality of education management, and to support decision-making at the educational management policy level.
