NIETS organized the second round of an online operational training, “The Usage of O-NET Testing Results as Teaching and Learning Management Quality Upgrading Instrument”

On April 22, 2025, the National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization), or NIETS, organized the second round of an online operational training “the usage of O-NET testing results as teaching and learning management quality upgrading instrument”. Asst.Prof. Sirida Burachat, Ph.D, was a main lecturer to educate the usage and application of O-NET testing results by themselves. This workshop was free and align with the Anywhere, Anytime policy of the Minister of Education (Pol. Gen. Permpoon Chidchob) and the deputy minister (Mr.Surasak Phancharoenwonkun) who encouraged to move education forward. There were 1,241 participants including 103 executives of schools, 1,073 teachers of diversity courses (from the Office of the Basic Education Commission, the Department of Education Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, the Office of the Private Education Commission, Special Education Bureau, National Office of Buddhism, Border Patrol Police School, the Department of Local Administration, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation) 41 educational supervisors, and 24 educational personnel.

The workshop educated on the analysis guidelines for O-NET testing results for personal students and the testing results analysis of institutes, which were classified by subject, content, learning standards, indicators, and information applied from test results to develop the upgraded teaching and learning plans. Moreover, it included activities to enhance teaching and learning. In addition, NIETS prepared the pre-test of the O-NET results usage comprehension before starting the training and then the post-test after the end of training for all participants. Each participant who passed the workshop test has been received the certification from NIETS. The next round of training will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
