National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization) and the Healthcare Accreditation Institute (Public Organization) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for providing services of the Test of English for Communication in the Wor

On March 21, 2024, the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for providing services of the Test of English for Communication in the Workplace: TEC-W held between National Institute of Educational Testing Service (Public Organization) or NIETS, and the Healthcare Accreditation Institute (Public Organization) or HAI. The executives of both organizations, Asst. Prof. Sirida Burachat, Ph.D., the director of NIETS, and medical physician Piyawan Limpanyalert, Ph.D., the director of HAI along with the executive boards, joined this event at NIETS’s meeting room.

The objectives of this event were: (1) to cooperate in arranging the Test of English for Communication in the Workplace: TEC-W (2) to determine guidelines and co-promote the utilization of TEC-W testing results. (3) to support and enhance students and official officers to attend TEC-W testing, and (4) to follow up and assess TEC-W test proceeding development. Moreover, HAI’s group visited the digital testing rooms at NIETS’s main office. This signing was the vital beginning point for presenting English skills and competency of personnel for communications in the workplace which is the dynamic improvement of human resources to have communication’s potential among overseas organizations, and promoting operation quality at the international level. It is a necessary part that further enhances the target achievement of the 20-year national strategy plan in the aspect of human capacity-building improvement at the national level.
